David and Deborah Young established “Millennium Aviaries” in October 2000 after the acquisition of “All Steel Aviaries” previously based in Levin. 

We are a home based business operating from Matamata and purchased the business because we believe the aviaries to be the best currently available in New Zealand due to their sturdy nature and the ease in which they can be transported to a new site.

 Both partners have a strong interest in Foreign Finch breeding and belong to the New Zealand Finch Breeders Association with Deborah formerly holding positions of Editor and President.

You are more than welcome to visit us most days at home, but as with most family based businesses it pays to ring first just to make sure someone can be available to show you our aviaries and talk to you about your requirements.
